Wisconsin Home Named Among Best Airbnbs to See Fall Foliage in America
If you call yourself a "leaf peeper" here's a chance to do it in style.
That's because a Wisconsin home was just called one of the best Airbnb's to stay at if you want to see the leaves change colors right in front of your eyes.
Trips to Discover highlighted 14 different homes on their list of Best Airbnbs to See Fall Foliage and while many of the houses are on the east coast a few made it from the midwest.
Including a place in Michigan but one just a bit closer to home in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
This charming one-bedroom home is located in Door County, famous for some of the most magnificent fall foliage in the Midwest. Enjoy the peacefulness of a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of trees for color and easy access to the Sturgeon Bay shoreline in Sunset Park which includes a sandy beach and boat launch.
This isn't the kind of place you bring the entire family. It's more like, you and your partner going for a quick weekend jaunt to see some beautiful leaves.
If the weather play along there's plenty to do inside the Doll House, including Wi-Fi access along with streaming favorites like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
Rated a 4.92 on Airbnb, former guests at the Doll House rave saying it's "A wonderful stay for a romantic getaway in Sturgeon Bay." and "It is a home away from home."
In case you're wondering, Sturgeon Bay is roughly a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Chicago and/or Rockford, but it sounds like it's well worth the trip.
