Dr. John Dorsey was today's guest.

Dr. Dorsey has the distinct honor of being the first two-time guest on What's Up, Doc? He did not disappoint in his second appearance.

We had a great topic to kick off the new year, COVID-19 vaccines. Dr. Dorsey said that about 80% of his staff has received the vaccine already and no one had any side effects.

We asked him what the rollout of the vaccine has been like so far and when people should expect to be able to get their shot.

One of the most important things we talked about was just the public perception of the COVID vaccine. There is a significant portion of the population that while they are on board with mask-wearing, social distancing, and hand-washing, are hesitant when it comes to getting vaccinated.

Dr. Dorsey shared that he understands people maybe not trusting the vaccine right away, and that is fine. Hopefully, he adds, the first few months of the vaccine roll-out will be a success and people will see that not only are there no major, long-term side effects, but they will also see that the COVID infection rates go down.
