Get ready for some more fun on the water this summer. Don't have a boat? No problem, Uber for boats is coming.

DNAinfo is reporting that this service will soon be stating in Chicago on Lake Michigan

Catered Cruises has announced that beginning April 20th boat owners, looking to make some extra money will be able to rent out their ships using an Uber-like service.

If you've ever owned a boat you know how expensive it is to maintain, keep and operate. So, for boat operators who have boats along Lake Michigan, this is a chance to take defray some of their operating costs.

The owner of the boat will provide a captain. The service will cost a party of 6-10 people anywhere in between $350 to $650. Additional fees will apply to special occasions.

Unlike the popular ride sharing services, users can't book a cruise and have it ready in five minutes, They'll have to book cruises in available time slots listed on the company's the website.

Individuals will schedule a 90-minute cruise at locations along Lake Michigan in Chicago

Just like Uber, Boat owners will have to split their profits with Catered Cruises.
