New Report Ranks Illinois Hospitals By Their Specialties

Each year, US News & World Report releases the results of a study aimed at figuring out which hospitals across the country would qualify as being among the very best in the nation.

Illinois hospitals, like Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Rush University Medical Center were ranked right up there with the nation's top-rated hospitals like the Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Even more praise is being offered to Illinois Hospitals on this year's list when it comes to specialty services like cancer, cardiology, diabetes, ear, nose and throat, gastroenterology, geriatrics, OB-GYN, and more (16 total specialties).
