This Popular Illinois Antique & Flea Market Has Over 40 Acres Of Vendors

Who doesn't love shopping local at one of the most popular flea market events of the year?  You're crazy if you don't like a good deal!

When I tell you I have gone to the Pec Thing for years now, I'm not lying.  I decided to make it a tradition to go with my aunt because she loves finding pieces for her arts and crafts and I loveeee to look at things that I'm easily persuaded to buy on impulse.  Toxic trait of mine? Absolutely haha.  This year, it looks like it's going to be even bigger than ever so get excited!

PEC THING - WINNEBAGO COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

The Semi-Annual Pec Thing Antique & Flea Market will take place on May 14th & 15th from 8am - 5pm in Pecatonica, Illinois.  Free parking for all attendees!

There's going to be over 500 VENDORS!  Now you're wondering what kind of vendors will be at the Pec Thing.  Pretty much anything you can think of:

Antiques, quilts, yarn art, jewelry, furniture, sports memorabilia, arts and crafts, electronics, photography, woodworking, candles, and even name brand products!

Whether it rains or shine, IT'S ON! With over 100,000 square feet of INDOOR vendor space and 40 acres of OUTDOOR vendors, this Flea Market is bound to be an amazing time and worth the $5.00 to get into the event! Kids 12 and under are free.

Starting Saturday, May 14th through Sunday, May 15th the Pec Thing will open from 8am – 5pm for all your shopping needs!  Maybe treat Mom to a late Mother's Day gift? Not a bad idea!

Maybe you're interested in beating the crowds!  Well, they're offering an Early Bird Shopper Pass ($20) that allows you to shop on Friday, May 13th 9am - 9pm and Saturday/Sunday 6am - 5pm.

Who knows what you'll find!  You may go into the event with no expectations on making any purchases, but I guarantee you'll leave with a wagon FULL of decorations you really didn't need.

I've walked in with a $20 bill and left with $100 worth of merchandise I couldn't even fit in my apartment.  It's just like Target, just a more local version haha!

Of course you'll be at the event all day long, so food and beverages will be available for purchase so you don't have to make a trip somewhere and come all the way back to the market - convenient!
