Opening day 2021 is in the books for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. And of course, in typical baseball fashion, beers were drank. Baseball and beer really just go together like peanut butter and jelly. So what are Chicago baseball fans sipping on?

Old Style is so ingrained in Cubs culture that fans routinely leave cans of it at Harry Caray's grave in nearby Des Plaines. The beer was the third-most checked-in beer in the majors.
Now for the White Sox. What are Sox fans sipping on the most at Guaranteed Rate Field? Well, they recently were declared the baseball fans who drink the most. And apparently they're sipping on ...
Cubs fans like the classics, Sox fans like the newer stuff.

The home of the Brewers was known as Miller Park before officially changing to American Family Field earlier this year. The park's most popular beer, however, does not belong to one of the Cheese State's biggest brands. Brewers fans instead chose to tout their "Happy Place," a pale ale from a popular craft brewery located near the ballpark.
It makes me really happy that Chicago and Wisconsin baseball fans are sipping on local brews.
