Little died at the age of 24 a little more than two years ago. Mat Parker, the Rockford Public Schools Athletic Director, was Little's coach at South Beloit and he's put together a one-day tournament featuring adult teams of 5-on-5 and youth 3-on-3 tournaments at the UW Health Sports Factory, 305 S. Madison St.

Adults will play 5-on-5 basketball with the cost being $100 per team, while kids teams (grades 2-5 and grades 6-8) cost $50.

The proceeds of the tournaments will go to the South Beloit athletic department, where Parker was a coach and administrator for nine years.

Little was a captain of the 2009 South Beloit basketball team that went 28-2 and won the first regional title for the Sobos in 30 years.

For more information about the tournament and how to register, contact Mat Parker and Mathew.Parker@rps205.com.
