I am a veteran of all the coasters at Six Flags in St. Louis. If you want to know anything about any of the rides there, I can help you out. However, I have never been to Six Flags Great America in Illinois. Thanks to a new video share, we can all see what it's like to ride the coasters there (and non-coasters, too).
Hey all Six Flags season pass holders, this year you're going to love having that pass because Great America just announced they will be open during the Christmas holidays with "Holiday in the Park."
As I have pointed out previously in this space, I have a problem with heights. Always have had, always will, I'm afraid. I don't have a problem with speed, or twists and turns, but if we're going to go higher than about 10 feet, you'll have to count me out...
In the interests of full disclosure, I must admit that I am not a roller-coaster enthusiast. Having had more than one theme park excursion ruined by riding on, and subsequently vomiting near a fearsomely named coaster (The Widowmaker, The Screaming & Crying Eagle, or The Pants Filler 2000, to name but a few), has taught me that although I may like them, roller coasters don't particularly care
