Great America Will Be Open For The Christmas Holidays

Hey all Six Flags season pass holders, this year you're going to love having that pass because Great America just announced they will be open during the Christmas holidays with "Holiday in the Park."

WGN shares that Six Flags Great America will be open to celebrate the upcoming Christmas season on weekends beginning November 23rd through the end of December.

Plus, the week of Dec 26th - Dec 31st they will be open daily for season pass holidays to enjoy seeing beautiful lighted holiday displays and of course riding the ride.

The park is planning to have over "million LED lights all around the park, with special shows and food" to celebrate the holiday season.

How cool is that?

The closest Six Flags that I knew that had a Christmas or holiday themed park event was at Six Flags in St. Louis. In fact my sister, her family and I were planning on making a special weekend trip to go to the park to see it and of course ride the rides.

According to WGN the roller coasters and rides will run weather permitting and in the video below they stated that if the temperatures stay above 45 degrees the roller coasters will all be running during "Holiday in the Park".
