I was talking on the phone with a friend last night, both of us lamenting the end of a "it went by so quickly!" weekend.

We were comparing events and responsibilities we each had in the coming week, when he asked what I would be writing about in today's website post. I told him I had no idea, and that Mondays were actually the hardest day for me to come up with something. He suggested some testing.

He went on to explain that he had discovered a guy on YouTube who's put out some tests on varying topics that you can try out for yourself. My friend pointed out that because he spends so much time on the road and in airports, he needed something to watch that was a bit more beneficial than cat videos and news fails.

The man behind the YouTube videos is Richard Wiseman, based at the University of Hertfordshire, U.K. Wiseman also has a book out called 59 Seconds, Change Your Life in Under a Minute. The book features different tips and tricks to improve your life by using scientific principles. The videos give you a chance to try a few out before purchasing the book.

Let's take smiling, for an example. Mondays are difficult days for some to be smiley, Mr. Wiseman has a technique:
