Rockford’s Christmas Tree Arrives Downtown

When the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (RACVB) asked for a local donation of a large Christmas tree for Stroll on State, they got some great responses. And, a great tree.

Rather than look for the right specimen out-of-state, or even out-of-the-area, the RACVB found exactly what they were looking for right here in Winnebago County.

This morning, a large and well-prepared group headed to Winnebago to cut down this year's tree, load it on a truck, and bring it downtown:

Stroll on State takes place on Saturday, November 24th, in downtown Rockford.
