Rockford: Wet and Cold, Hawaii: Not so Much

Here in the Rockford area, it's springtime...although it really doesn't feel very springy. The high temperature today will be around 36 with rain and/or snow showers, with a low of 24 tonight. Conversely, Lahaina, Hawaii (on the island of Maui) is looking at pure sunshine today and 82 for the high temperature.

Since we probably don't have the spare cash lying around to make the hop to our 50th state, perhaps a look at what a YouTuber who calls himself uheheu has been capturing (with his drone) recently off the Hawaiian coast.

It's not the same as being there, but it's the best we can do on short notice:

Maybe it's my advanced age, but watching whales in Hawaii really seems more appealing to me than raking leaves and shoveling snow. Seriously, I must be getting older, because I've always been one of those "But I would miss the change of seasons!" kind of guys.
