whale watching

Here in the Rockford area, it's springtime...although it really doesn't feel very springy. The high temperature today will be around 36 with rain and/or snow showers, with a low of 24 tonight. Conversely, Lahaina, Hawaii (on the island of Maui) is looking at pure sunshine today and 82 for the high temperature.

After viewing the video below, my first thought was, "I'd pretty much react the same way this dude did." Which is to say I'd be highly enthusiastic, but maybe not quite this much. To set the scene, a couple of guys, Tony Flanders and Brad Rich, were off the coast of Alaska hoping to spot some migrating humpback whales...
