Lucky for us in Illinois and Wisconsin, there's a place that was just featured as one of the best small towns in America for a weekend getaway.

Travel Curator's 10 Small Towns in the US for Your Weekend Getaway features cities in states like Texas, New York, Arizona, and even Hawaii.

At the end of the list though, is Kohler, Wisconsin. Yep, it's the town that is known worldwide for its kitchen and bath products.

Apparently, Kohler is also a great spot for a weekend getaway too.

Travel Curator:

About an hour from Milwaukee, this suburb of Sheboygan was one of the nation’s first planned communities...with the help of Central Park landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, the 4.5 square-mile village has plenty of green space, three churches, shops, walking trails, and the giant Kohler Design Center.

According to Tripadvisor, The Blind Horse Winery seems like a must-visit while in Kohler.

If you're staying overnight in Kohler, try The American Club, the top-rated place to stay on TripAdvisor, and for eats, go to the Blackwolf Run Restaurant.

If you're on the fence about making the trek to Kohler for a weekend getaway this might just put it over the top, especially if you like a day at the spa.

TravelCurator says Kohler is home to "one of only 85 five-star spas worldwide," the Kohler Waters Spa.
