New Flights At RFD Now Available for Online Purchase

You now officially can make plans for that trip to Denver or New York out of the Rockford Airport.

Officials have announced that flights via Elite Airways to Fort Collins, Colo. and Newark, N.J. are available for online purchase. Travelers can choose departing and returning flights on Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays for $149.00 each way. Newark flights will leave at 8:00 a.m. and Ft. Collins flights will depart at 2:00 p.m.

Reservations can also be made at the airport's website. Flights will begin servicing customers on August 27.

In a press release, airport executive director Mike Dunn said it's a big coup for RFD:

We are thrilled to be able to offer this service to travelers in our region and know this will provide a much needed link to two areas of the country frequently visited by those in our surrounding area.

Elite Airways is a U.S. Part 121 Air Carrier and provides charter service throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, and South America. RFD is served by three airlines: Allegiant, Apple Vacations and Elite.
