Illinois theater features thirty plays in sixty minutes to maximize your free time.

What Is Free Time?

A couple of days ago someone asked me, "what do you do with your free time?" My answer was, "free time?" I did not mean to answer a question with a question, but that was my most honest response.

Seriously, who really has any "free time" these days? We all have so many responsibilities like work, family, chores, and several more. There are not enough hours in the day. When I get some actual "free time," I am so tired it means trying to catch up with sleep.

Make Time For Fun

I do truly try to make time for fun. It is necessary to get through life without going insane. If I can work it out, I enjoy music and sports. The key is maximizing the entertainment experiences. When I am all in, it is about getting "more bang for my buck."

The Ultimate Free Time Maximizer

I just happened to stumble about an event that I would consider a "free time maximizer." It is all about getting the most amount of fun into the shortest timespan.

For example, if you were to attend a play at the theater, that would take up a few hours for just one show. In my lifetime, I have been to just a handful of productions. What if I could go to a bunch in one visit to the stage? A place in Chicago has that opportunity available.

According to neofuturist.org,

"At the Infinite Wrench you'll see thirty original plays in sixty minutes; written and performed by the Neo-Futurist Ensemble."

"Each play offers something different, be it funny, profound, elegant, disgusting, topical, irreverent, terrifying, or a song; all are truthful and tackle the here-and-now, inspired by the lived experiences of the performers."

"With new plays every week, THE INFINITE WRENCH is The Neo-Futurists’ ongoing and ever-changing attempt to shift the conventions of live performance and speak to those unreached or unmoved by traditional theater."

If nothing else, I think it would be an hour of unique entertainment. For more info, HERE.
