Amazon says this year's Career Day will take place this Wednesday, September 16th, and will be virtual, so anyone online can attend.

And, if you find yourself in need of a job, or perhaps you're thinking more along the lines of a career change, Amazon has 33,000 corporate and tech job openings available, including positions to support AWS, Alexa and Prime Video. They'll also have 1,000 recruiters and 20,000 career coaching sessions available.

If you're interested in booking a session, go to the Amazon Career Day site.

If you're thinking that these are the warehouse jobs that you've seen so much complaining about, you may want to reconsider. According to an Amazon spokesperson, these jobs that are up for grabs will offer a total annual compensation of $150,000, including salary and stock awards.

Amazon also says that it plans to announce soon that it's hiring thousands of additional hourly positions.

For those who aren't really keen on the idea of uprooting themselves and their families and moving for an Amazon job, Amazon says that new hires will work from home and eventually be asked to work in an office.

Amazon isn't the only major player that's beefing up their workforce. Last week, UPS announced that they're planning on hiring over 100,000 people for UPS's seasonal jobs, and anticipate a large number will move into permanent roles after the holidays.
