Learn the Differences Before Voting

Before you click over to Scot's post this morning ("Take the Poll: Jam or Jelly") to cast your vote for jam over jelly, I thought some background on the whole topic might be in order. We received several comments from people who did not know the difference, and somehow thought our heated discussion might have been much ado about nothing. However correct that analysis might be, battle lines have been drawn around here over the polarizing topic of spreadable fruit.

Remember, go to Scot's posting here, and cast your vote for jam. As George Washington, the father of our country, probably never said: "I'd rather stand up in a boat on a frozen river at Christmastime than let jelly pass these lips."  Seriously, Google it.
