The sad fact is that every day we are losing veterans who have served in our past wars. And when these vets pass away, many times all their stories go with them. One group of students at Harlem High School is doing what they can to preserve those stories for future generations

On "Riley & Scot" this week, we talked with a representative from Harlem High School's Veteran Documentary & Film Production class. In short, students interview veterans from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. They then produce high-quality video documentaries for the veteran and his family. If you listen to the interview below, you'll also find out how you can watch these films:

Harlem also is hosting a "Veteran's Night" during Friday's Huskie football game. Any veteran or current military service member will receive free admission. They'll also get reserved seats on the sidelines and will be feature in a group picture taken on the field. The picture will be taken around 6:30 p.m. and the game is scheduled to start just after 7 p.m. No RSVP is needed.

The Film Production class also will have a tent with students and teachers ready to explain the Vet Doc program, answer questions, and schedule future interviews. It's a great opportunity to find out more about the program.
