Former Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh will be in Rockford this weekend, appearing as the special MC for this year's Winnebago County Lincoln Day Dinner. You can find out more about Saturday's event here.

Walsh joined us on the show to talk about Governor Bruce Rauner's first two months in office and today's announcement that Sen. Ted Cruz officially is entering the race for the Republican nomination for president.

We also asked him about his interest in entering the GOP primary for U.S. Senate in 2016 as a challenger to the right of Mark Kirk. Walsh almost certainly would have to give up day job as a radio host in Chicago and New York to do so. He told us he's still uncertain of his next move:
