As Republicans take control of both the House and Senate in Washington there are many questions about the policy priorities that should be advanced.

Answering those questions is former U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, who now is president of the Heritage Foundation. DeMint joined the show discuss the "Opportunity For All" agenda being promoted by Heritage in recent conversations with elected leaders. As it's described on the organization's website:

The American dream seems out of reach for many, but it's not because of the free market; it's because of Washington.

For too long, the agenda in Washington has been defined by well-connected special interests, not voters. Beyond the walls of the backrooms where deep-pocketed elites secure favors from their friends in government, almost no one in Washington seems to be listening to the American people.
