Something funny is going on with Walleye at Culver's restaurants all throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, and we are 100 percent here for it!

Lenten season is in full effect right now, and fish fry's always go hand-in-hand with that.
Many folks would say Wisconsin holds the crown when it comes to the best places to eat fish, but even I, (who doesn't eat fish), knows Illinois has some great fish fry's to enjoy during this time of the year!

Lent season is also the time when many of our favorite fast food joints and restaurants add fish items to their menus for a limited time, but one Illinois and Wisconsin favorite, Culver's, always has fish items on the menu.
Walleye Is Back at Illinois and Wisconsin Culver's Locations
In a nod to its Wisconsin roots, some type of fish is always available at Culver's restaurants, BUT, folks are pretty excited that Walleye is officially back on the menu boards right now.
Or maybe they are just excited because they return of Walleye at Culver's also means the funny Walleye signs are returning too?
Funny Walleye Signs Spotted at Culver's Restaurants
During my daily perusal of the Strange Wisconsin Facebook group I spotted a posting that said;
The thing I like about this time of year is the creative Walleye meals that come from Culver's.
Hmm. I couldn't but wonder; what makes a Walleye meal "creative"?
Then I saw the pictures and it all made sense...
You spot the funny pattern here?
I may not be down to eat Walleye on a normal day, but if it tastes like double marshmallow Oreo, I may be willing to give it a try. LOL!
More Funny Culver's Signs
After I stopped giggling about all those interesting Culver's Walleye flavors I realized something important I have been missing all these years; Walleye isn't the only item that is treated to some funny sign wording.
It's a pretty normal thing at all Culver's locations, at all times during the year, (minus the blaring typo)…
Surely Culver's words its signs like this on purpose, right? I sure appreciate their cheeky efforts!
