We kind of thought the team moving to Arlington Heights was a done deal. Maybe the idea of staying in Chicago along the lake was a better thought? Then again, playing in Indiana would be a good idea, too.

The Chicago Bears are starting to make this look like an episode of The Bachelor, er, more like The Bear-chelor. Seriously, though, what city (or state) are the Bears going to give a rose to?
Will The Bears Stay in Chicago or Leave Illinois?
Silliness aside, eventually a deal will get done, but not before exhausting all possibilities. So I guess it makes sense that any city in Illinois, or elsewhere, would be willing to see if they could get the Monsters of the Midway to move to Iowa. Wait what?
Iowa legislators are throwing their hats in the ring as well. Senator Dan Dawson (R-Council Bluffs), Senator Kerry Gruenhagen (R-Walcott), Senator Dawn Driscoll (R-Williamsburg), Senator Scott Webster (R-Bettendorf), Senator Mike Bousselot (R-Ankeny), Senator Cherielynn Westrich (R-Ottumwa) and Senator Carrie Koelker (R-Dyersville) filed SF 2252 'to show the NFL and the Chicago Bears that Iowa is ready to be their new home,' according to a release from the legislators.
Gruenhagen also said that the Bears "are looking for a state that will appreciate them and welcome them with open arms."

Iowa Lawmakers Make a Play for the Chicago Bears
Maybe that rose idea isn't such a horrible idea after all, because it sounds like Iowa is vying for the Bears' attention.
