April Fool's Day Pranks In Illinois Can Get You Into Serious Trouble

I try to live by the motto, "don't do to others what you don't want to be done to you." That especially goes for April Fool's Day pranks. I prefer to not be the victim of a mean joke so I won't try to pull off a stunt on anyone else. It's worked out pretty well in my life. I usually stay out of trouble on April 1st. The likelihood of an epic fail is too risky to attempt one.
