Fruit Cups in Illinois Recalled for Potentially Fatal Infection
If you've grabbed some fruit cups recently from a convenience store in Illinois, you need to be aware of an urgent recall due to a potentially fatal infection for some.
The Food and Drug Administration just issued this urgent recall in a bulletin that addressed fruit cups sold at Illinois Kwik Tip stores. The FDA said these fruit cups are being recalled because "they contain cantaloupe from TruFresh which has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella".
