This Saturday the Rockford IceHogs are hosting their annual Teddy Bear toss, and one fan is ready! Like REALLY ready!

Trudy Clark is a Rockford IceHogs season ticket holder and one of her favorite nights of the year is the Teddy Bear toss.

If you don't know, that's the night that fans toss a teddy bear onto the ice after the first goal is scored during the game.

The stuffed animals are then collected and given to local hospitals for kids who are being treated during the holidays.

Ok, now that you know that, I'll tell you about Trudy.

SHE IS INCREDIBLE.

She and her daughter decided a few years ago to collect stuffed animals all year round so that they could toss them all out on the ice for this Saturday's game.

She stopped by Good Day Stateline earlier this week to tell me her story.

If you want to go to the game, you can still get tickets on the Rockford IceHogs website.

The Teddy Bear toss is this Saturday at the BMO Harris Bank Center at 6pm against the Henderson Silver Knights.

They're also collecting winter clothes (gently used jackets, winter hats, gloves and mittens) and get this? If you donate to the winter clothing drive you'll get a free ticket to the New Year's Eve game, too!
