Anyone else totally okay with an early spooky season?

Six Flags Great America's Fright Fest is ICONIC.

If you have been before, you know the absolutely incredible job they do at transforming the park. Not only does the entire park look spooky, but they also offer so many fun events during Fright Fest. One of my favorites from the past is their coffin challenge. I got to try my own mini Coffin Challenge and let me tell you, I don't know how anyone lasts more than a few hours.

I had my own headstone and everything! I also got to take a stroll through one of the haunted houses. But I didn't want to go alone, so I asked for a buddy. Then this happened.

The moral of the story - Fright Fest is truly unmatched when it comes to Halloween-time fun. And it's back for the 2021 season.

The announcement actually came from my haunted house buddy and one of the other Fright Fest characters on Six Flags Great America's Instagram.

According to their video, this year, they've got 2 new haunted houses and 9 scare zones.

So when can you get your scare on? Fright Fest opens up on September 18 and runs through October 31.

Right now Six Flags is actually hiring workers for Fright Fest. You can apply for that spooky gig right here.

And of course, we're still living a pandemic life. So Six Flags mask mandate and social distancing policy might change by the time Fright Fest is here. You can keep up to date on all their policies on their website.
