The revamped State Farm Center in Champaign also will open with a new name on the basketball court.

The University of Illinois name the new floor at the area after longtime Fighting Illini coach Lou Henson. The Lou Henson Court will include enlarged replicas of the 83-year-old former coach's signature.

Henson is the winningest coach in the history of the school. He won 423 games in 21 seasons, including one trip to the Final Four. Earlier this year, he was named to the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. Henson is also battling what he has called pre-leukemia and is undergoing chemotherapy.

The State Farm Center is expected to reopen December 2 when the Illini play Notre Dame.
