Illinois and Wisconsin Police Mesh Better Than Aaron Rodgers and Soldier Field
Spoiler alert: Green Bay out-scored Chicago at Soldier Field.
Aaron Rodgers, once again, sucked the air out of the stadium. He was had a moment that some fans called unsportsmanlike.
If A-a-ron Rod-gers was hoping to gaslight more disdain from Chicago fans he did that this afternoon.
Arguably, he may have a problem playing well with others.
Sure, maybe the future Hall-of-Famer was getting heckled after his dramatic touchdown but he should remember where he was, at Soldier Field.
The rivalry between Green Bay and Chicago will be a century-old next month but Illinois and Wisconsin do not need to be as divided as some may believe.
Proving that point are some of the bravest men and women in uniform, our police.
(Real quick, can us Bears fans take a moment to appreciate Akiem Hick sacking Aarond Rodgers?)
"We're on the same team."
This was the key part of a social media post ahead of a Sunday afternoon in which many fans will drink together but will end with some fans drinking during celebration while others do so to drown their tears.
Illinois State Police and Wisconsin State Patrol wanted both Packers and Bears fans to understand that if they were not responsible they would end up losing despite the outcome of the game.
ILLINOIS STATE POLICE
We're on the same team when it comes to getting impaired drivers off the road and we do not issue warnings. Don’t drive impaired.
WISCONSIN STATE PATROL
We may root for different teams on the field, but we're on the same team when it comes to getting impaired drivers off the road.
