Galesburg Man Sentenced in Boone County Sexual Assaults

A Galesburg man who has been convicted of multiple sexual assaults between 2008 and 2010 has been sentenced to 32 years behind bars.

According to a press release, 42-year-old Dewayne Jackson was found guilty of four counts of sexual assault involving a family member under the age of 18. Jackson committed each assault in Popular Grove over the two year period.

He will spend his sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
