When the Chicago Cubs won the World Series last month, I never thought I'd get the chance to see the trophy up close.

That changed when an announcement was made regarding the Commissioner's Trophy going on tour. Since that day, there has been much info by way of dates or times.

However, it seems like some date and time info may be leaking out a bit.

The Facebook page, Freeport All In. says the trophy will be at the Masonic Temple Association from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, January 9.

There isn't much backing up the statement, but I really hope it's true. The only stop remaining that can be completely confirmed is January 13-15 at the annual Cubs Convention.

EDIT:  I talked to someone with Freeport All In. and was notified that the date and time comes from Danny Garkey, vice president of Little Cubs Field. The rest of the story can be found at journalstandard.com.
