There have been a lot of product recall notices in 2022, and while most of them deal with foods/food products that were, or may have been contaminated, this one isn't about anything edible, and it's for a reason that we don't see very often.

As a time-saver for some of you, especially if you look like the guy below, you can stop reading now, because I don't really see how this affects you. Or me, if we're being honest.

According To The FDA, Over Two Dozen Popular Dry Shampoo Aerosol Products Are Being Recalled Because Of “Potentially Elevated Levels Of Benzene"

The FDA says that daily exposure to benzene in the recalled products at the levels detected in testing would not be expected to cause adverse health consequences, but parent company Unilever U.S. is recalling these products out of an abundance of caution. Thus far, Unilever has received no reports of adverse events relating to this recall.

The recall is the latest of half a dozen so far in 2022, with benzene, a cancer-causing chemical, showing up in products including deodorant, hand sanitizer, and sunscreen.

Being a guy who's most voluminous hair days are far behind me, I'll admit to not really being sure what the difference is between regular shampoo and dry shampoo (although my razor-sharp intellect presumes it has something to do with water).

Quora.com says this about that: Dry shampoo is a dry cleansing powder. It cleans without water and adds volume. Shampoo is a soap style cleanser that needs to be mixed with water.

Let's Get To What You Need To Know, Like Which Products Are Being Recalled

This product recall includes dry shampoo aerosol products made before October of 2021, from brands Dove, Nexxus, Suave, TIGI (Rockaholic and Bed Head), and TRESemmé.

Here are the product photos that should make finding these products easier for you:
