Charles Murray: Put Government Back in its Proper Box [AUDIO]

We met noted author and thinker Charles Murray three years ago when he stopped in Rockford for a luncheon. Murray joined the show again this week to talk about his latest book, "By The People: Rebuilding Liberty without Permission," and ways to halt the growth of oppressive government.

In "By The People," Murray illustrates how the federal government has unilaterally decided that it can and should tell us how to live our lives. If we object, they threaten, "Fight this, and we'll ruin you."

The "big idea" in this book is The Madison Fund, which Murray describes as the vehicle that allows ordinary citizens to ignore pointless, stupid, or tyrannical regulations by overloading the enforcement capability of the government.
