Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner joined us on the show this week to discuss where we stand in Springfield on getting a budget deal done.

Rauner stressed to us that he's open to negotiate as long as lawmakers agree to go along with portions of his Turnaround Agenda. We also asked the Governor for an update on contract talks between the state and AFSCME and whether a strike or lockout could be on the horizon.
