Brian Urlacher’s Brother Charged In Offshore Gambling Ring
CHICAGO (AP) — Federal prosecutors say the brother of a Chicago Bears Hall of Famer is among 10 people charged with operating an offshore sports gambling business. Casey Urlacher, the brother of linebacker Brian Urlacher, is accused in U.S. District Court of conspiracy and running an illegal gambling business. Brian Urlacher wasn’t named in the indictment. Federal agents say they found more than $1 million in cash, plus hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of silver bars, gold coins and jewelry in the Orland Park home of the alleged ringleader, Vincent DelGiudice. DelGiudice is charged with conspiracy to conduct an illegal gambling business, plus money laundering charges.
