Aldeen golf club expansion to be announced Monday

ROCKFORD - The Rockford Park District is holding a news conference Monday at 1 p.m. at Aldeen Golf Club, 1902 Reid Farm Road, to announce some sort of expansion to Aldeen Golf Club.

Aldeen is the crown jewel of the Rock River Valley golf community. In 2016, it was ranked No. 21 in the country for golf courses in the country you can play for under $50 and in July 2016 it was the top rated golf course of any kind on Golf Advisor. The other courses in the top nine came from Delaware, Arizona, Florida, California, Michigan, South Carolina and Ohio.
