Wisconsin Hidden Gem is ‘Straight From The Imagination of Dr. Seuss’
I love traveling. I'll travel to sightsee, I'll travel to eat. I'll travel just to check it off my own personal travel map.
I often thought if I didn't currently love what I do for a living so much I'd take a job where I'd have to travel.
IT'S NOT ABOUT THE TRAVEL MORESO THE DESTINATION
It's not that I enjoy airplanes as much as I just love seeing so many different things.
When it comes to travel, I'm like a kid at a candy store. There are so many places to choose from and so much to see it's difficult to choose where to go next.
PIN THIS PLACE FOR YOUR NEXT FAMILY VACATION
So there's a place in Wisconsin that yes, I have shared with you before, that just sounds like it may have to be the destination for the next family vacation.
It's seven hours from Rockford and to officially get to where you need to fully enjoy this spot you'll have to hop on a ferry but it sounds totally worth it.
Love Exploring called it a "Hidden Gem to Visit in 2021" and one of "America's least-visited places." Both of those descriptions make a trip to the Apostle Islands in Wisconsin a bucket list vacation.
From seemingly endless brown-sugar beaches and lighthouses perched on rust-red cliffs to giant icicles dripping from lakeshore caves, the Apostle Islands seem like something from a dream, or straight from the imagination of Dr. Seuss.
SAM I AM
Invoking Dr. Seuss has got my brain thinking of all kinds of colors and shapes. Is there any chance I might find green eggs and ham on the island?
