Winter Storm Watch Downgraded For Rockford Area

I know, you were really looking forward to grabbing your shovel or trying to fire up a reluctant snowblower, but Mother Nature can be fickle.

Yesterday my wife Amy informed me that we were fully stocked with all the necessary supplies, and that she was ready to do some shoveling. No, really. She loves that kind of thing. Kinda weird, but that's how she rolls.

Not today, though.

The 6 plus inches of snow that we were being warned about appears to have headed a bit south, leaving us a much lesser chance of having to dig ourselves out.

It seems we have some catching up to do in the snowfall totals department, but we may just have to wait.
