Whoa! Illinois Store’s Announcement Is One None Of Us Saw Coming

It doesn't get more "local" than Rockford Art Deli. The eco-conscious apparel shop is known for its 815 gear, comfortable clothing, gifts, local vibe, and environmental efforts. And, just when you think Jarrod Hennis and his team have reached their peak, RAD makes a huge announcement.

I couldn't believe this when I read it and I'm certain you'll be excited about this too. I'm not even sure where to begin with all the news Rockford Art Deli dropped all at once.

ROCKFORD ART DELI TRADE-IN OFFER

Wait, What!?

Yes, you read it correctly. In yet another attempt to be eco-friendly, you can now bring your (gently) used Rockford Art Deli shirt and hoodie back to the store, at 402 E. State Street.

HOW IT WORKS

Again, this is only for gently used items. If yours has a popped seam or loose thread there's good news for you too. (More on that in a minute.)

• Bring your clothes to the shop to trade (without rips, stains, tears, or broken zippers).
• Trade the item in for a $5 credit (for t-shirts) or a $10 credit (for sweatshirts).
• Use the credit that day on a new shirt or hoodie.

After the swap, the gently used apparel is sanitized and hung on Rockford Art Deli's "trade-in" rack for other customers to purchase at a discounted rate.
