Like most parents, when my kids were small, we made several trips to various zoos. The most memorable experience being the time that my 5 year old son, sitting on my shoulders, was treated to a front row viewing of a couple of really large tortoises attempting to procreate.

 

"Why is he making that noise, dad?" "What's he climbing on the other one for, dad?" "Why are all the grown-ups laughing, dad?" "What's he doing now, dad?"

Yeah. Good times, good times.

Much better than what happens in the above video, where I'm guessing they might have preferred mating tortoises.

I don't think tortoises can build up enough of a head of steam to crack the glass separating them from the spectators.
