Do you know the guy in the photo above? Maybe, but I'm guessing you probably don't. I'm not being smug here, I had no idea whatsoever who this dude was until I learned a bit about him this morning.

His name is Demy de Zeeuw, and he's a Dutch soccer star (or, footballer) with an Instagram account that has over 8 million followers. That's right, Demy posts something on Instagram and those millions of people see it immediately. Not only do they see what he posts right away, they comment on it just as quickly.

My point in all of this is: we've all at one time or another gotten a bunch of texts, emails, or notifications. It probably seemed like your phone had gone a little nuts, with (insert your notification sound) going off over and over again. I'm not impugning your popularity, but...take a look at what happens when a guy with multiple million followers posts something to social media, and his followers respond, all while he enjoys a nice cup of tea:

According to YouTube,

The amazing video has been viewed 6.5 million times on Facebook, notched up over 86,000 likes and given Demy over 24,877 comments to pore through. Or just ignore.
