How Much Could The Progressive Tax Cost You and Your Family?
According to IllinoisPolicy.org, "House Bill 3522, filed by state Rep. Robert Martwick, D-Chicago, would tax incomes between $0 and $7,500 at 4 percent. For income between $7,500 and $15,000, the rate would be 5.84 percent. For income between $15,000 and $225,000, the rate would be 6.27 percent. And for income over $225,000, the rate would be 7.65 percent."
That is the legal crap most of us don't completely understand. If you do then kudos to you. I was personally lost after the first sentence. Don't judge me.
For those who understand or don't, we have found a way for you to get a better idea how this will affect you and your family.
First, head to the progressive tax calculator.
Second, enter your income and family size.
Once completed, you should know almost exactly how this will affect you.
Here comes the part where you can make your voice heard. Not down with what info was brought back to you. Sign the petition.
