The Coldest Place on Earth

As I sit at my desk typing this, the current temperature reading in Rockford is -7, with a "feels like" or windchill of -23. It's cold. Painfully so.

However, as much as we would like to, we can't claim the title of "Earth's Coldest Place." That title is held by a spot just a bit south of here. Antarctica.
