With all the challenges facing Rockford, and the State of Illinois, it's nice to see some numbers that are more than worth mentioning--and Rockford's got some good numbers.

355 properties were sold in March of this year, the largest total number since 534 homes were sold in March of 2007.

Some newly released numbers show that Rockford's housing market is not only ahead of the rest of Illinois, but the nation as a whole.
