It's time to get yourself signed up for what has become a WROK annual tradition--leaving the cold and snow behind in Mesa, Arizona.

On Wednesday of this week, I'll be hopping on a plane with a bunch of Cub fan WROK listeners and heading out to Cubs Spring Training in Mesa, Arizona.

There is light at the end of a cold, wet, and snowy tunnel. The Cubs take on the Brewers out in Arizona today, kicking off Spring Training 2018.

The clock is ticking, but there's still time (and still some room) for you to join us on a trip out to Mesa, Arizona this coming March for Chicago Cubs Spring Training. We had such a blast last March, and we heard from so many of you that wanted us to do it again--who are we to say no?

Since we had such a great time going out to Mesa, Arizona for Chicago Cubs spring training last March, we've got another trip planned for this coming March!

In March of this year, I was lucky enough to host an outstanding group of folks as we made the trek out to Mesa, Arizona, for Chicago Cubs spring training. The trip, which ran March 8th through the 12th, was put together by our good friend (and diehard Cubs fan) Tony Caruana at Lindstrom Travel. We had such a good time that we're going to do it again in 2018.

Lots of people think that Major League Baseball's spring training is just sunshine, fans, food, fun, and games. And, for the most part, they're right. Having taken groups of Rockford listeners to Mesa, Arizona, for Cubs spring training, I remember our biggest worries being sunburn, over-indulgence, and/or missing the bus back to the hotel.
