Seeing a smashed-up plane, like the one in Norway, IL, might make you assume it's symbolic of a crash in that exact spot or somewhere nearby, but it's not.

If you haven't been outside today to notice, it's really windy in Rockford today. As a matter of fact, we have a high wind warning in effect until 6pm, with sustained winds of 30-40 mph, along with gusts that could exceed 60 mph. Yeah, that's pretty windy, and it does call for caution.

The other night, my wife Amy and I were talking about bucket lists. I've gotten to do a few things on my list, but I have a few remaining. I'd love to see the pyramids, walk on the Great Wall of China, and take part in a Chicago Cubs World Series victory celebration (save your snide comments, Sox fans)...
