A bill signed into law by Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards says the state will adopt daylight saving time as the year-round standard time, pending changes in federal law.
Senate Bill 533, introduced by state Senator Andy Manar (D-Bunker Hill), would make Daylight Saving Time the year-round standard time of the entire state starting on the second Sunday of March 2020.
