It's really looking like the wheels are coming off for Bed Bath & Beyond, with reports of a missed loan payment, unpaid bills, and the very real potential for a bankruptcy declaration before next week.

Although there's been no formal announcement of the company completely going out of business, Bed Bath & Beyond may have one foot in the grave, with the other foot on a banana peel.

Wednesday was kind of a good news-bad news day for Bed Bath & Beyond, as they announced the good news of landing half a billion dollars in new financing, and then dropped the bad news that they're going to shutter 150 stores going forward.
