Suburban Cop Stops Traffic For Adorable Reason

A Homewood police officer held up traffic so a mother and her children could safely cross the street. 

What makes this extra cool was the mother was a duck and the children were well, baby ducks.

The video was uploaded by YouTube user Dave Benjamin over the weekend and shows an unidentified officer walking out in traffic to escort the happy family to safety. It's nice to see a fun light-heated story involving police right now.

I will be petitioning the Loves Park police to station a goose crossing guard on Windsor Road by the post office.
