Starting Monday, Masks Are Mandatory At All Schnucks
If you're planning on shopping at Schnucks, this requirement will take effect Monday, July 20th at all 113 Schnucks locations.
As we discussed this morning on the WROK Morning Show, this move should come as no surprise, given the number of businesses (locally here in Rockford, along with regional and national chains) that have made the move toward mandatory face-coverings over the last couple of weeks.
Here are some of places that now insist on not only their staff, but customers, wear some sort of mask/face covering:
- Apple
- Best Buy
- Costco
- CVS
- Dollar Tree
- Kohl's
- Starbucks
- Target
- Verizon
- Walmart
Oh, and if you forget to bring along your own mask, Schnucks will provide one for each customer.
Regardless of whether you agree with mask mandates or not, they're certainly here to stay for a while. Is it really worth making a scene over being asked to wear one? Conversely, is it really worth being a complete jerk to someone you see who's not wearing one when you think that they should be?
Being at each other's throats over this is not a good look for either side of the argument.
